ITIL v3 Actual Certification Pass Rates

The average pass rates for the ITIL v3 Examinations have been identified following the analysis of information originally supplied by APM Group who are responsible for the overall administration of the ITIL v3 Qualification Scheme.

The examinations that are difficult to pass are the Continual Service Improvement with an average pass rate of 54.4% and the Managing Across the Life Cycle with a pass rate of 57.8%.

The table below provides the average pass rate for all the ITIL v3 examinations.

TIP - When considering an ITIL course ask all the Training Providers you approach to supply details of their average pass rate for their candidates, then compare the figures with the table above. Those that exceed the figures above could be considered more favourable than those that do not exceed the figures above.
